Hollo lets you tell a few close friends that you’re free for a phone call right now, and see the same about them. Write to hi@chesherie.com and we answer within a few days.
Common questions
- How do people see that I’m free? Only when you open a window on purpose. It expires on its own. Hollo never guesses that you’re around.
- Who can see me? Only people you have individually accepted. They see your name, that a window is open, roughly how long is left, and the optional note you attached. Nothing else.
- Does Hollo show my phone number to anyone? No. Numbers are never shown and never sent to another person’s device. Calls use the number already in your own contacts.
- How do I remove someone? Remove is silent and reversible — they are not told. Block is separate and stronger, and also silent.
- How do I stop being told about someone? Turn it off on their row in My People. Turning it off is instant and never asks for anything.
- How do I delete my account? Settings → Delete account. It is immediate and complete; we keep no copy. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription — cancel that in your Apple account settings.
- Reporting someone. You can report anyone from Settings. We review reports and act, including removing content and ending accounts, within 24 hours.
Subscriptions
Opening a window, seeing who is free, and calling them are free forever. The optional subscription tells you when one specific person you have named opens a window, and shows who is hoping to catch you. Apple takes the payment; refunds are Apple’s to grant rather than ours.
